Our community is facing a housing crisis. Whether you are unhoused, a young person trying to grow their family, a renter facing rental increases, or a homeowner facing property tax increases, it is impacting everyone. As Mayor, I will prioritize finding solutions that ensure every resident in Bloomington has affordable options to live and diversify the type of housing options available to residents.

I believe that as a city we need to actively work with existing businesses throughout the city, as well as assist new businesses, in their efforts to make our local economy strong. I want to work with state and federal partners to obtain grant dollars that support future projects, such as the downtown streetscape plan that I voted for as representative on council.

As someone who has experienced flooding in my home, I know firsthand how important it is to take care of our infrastructure. As a community we need to ensure that roads, sewers, and water lines are well maintained.
